My little girl is a HUGE Disney Princess fan at the minute. I don’t know how many times I have watched Cinderella or read her Disney Princess books. Her favourite character is Cinderella and with her 3rd birthday fast approaching she has asked for a Disney Princess Cinderella party.
I LOVE organising parties and events and have been searching the net for some of my favourite items and ideas to make the day fantastic and one to remember.
I am under strict instruction that it’s to be Cinderella party and not just Disney Princesses on the whole. So I have searched around the net and opted for this fab Cinderella party pack from Party Delights who have a great range of Cinderella party supplies.
It’s got all sorts included, from plates, cups and napkins, to glitter candles, tablecloth, banner and balloons.
I have seen some fabulous backdrops and life size Cinderella cut outs that I would just LOVE to get but the hall we are hosting the party in is quite big with a really high ceiling and I just think I would be going overboard on cost, especially with me being on SMP at the minute, so I am going to sit on my hands and refrain from splashing out. Instead I have bought some balloon weights, curling ribbon and will hire a helium canister and decorate the hall with balloons.
I’ve also opted for some purple party platters and bowls to serve up the food which will be quite simple and consist of sandwiches, party sausages, crisps, cheese cubes and veg sticks. The sandwiches will be cut into shapes of crowns and glass slippers such as these I found across at Madhouse Family Reviews I think they look great!
I’ve bought some princess cookie cutters to do this and if I get the chance I hope to make some cookies with them too like these that I’ve seen across at The Inspired Occasion
They look fab but I doubt mine will turn out this well! I can but try!
I am going to make some cupcakes, mallow pops and cake pops too and love some of the ideas below.
These cupcakes are so cute and I found them across at Sweet Tooth
These beautiful and colourful princess cake pops are from Hostess With the Mostest
These cute marshmallow pops are from Mommy Gaga
I ADORE these glass slippers filled with sweets that is an idea I saw on Hostess With the Mostess blog
I looked for ages to find slippers I could use in the UK and finally found them so am very excited!
I think party bags can be a bit of a waste sometimes and the plastic toys you get generally end up rolling around somewhere or at the back of a drawer. So I have bought one item for each bag and am making some sweet bags and will include a piece of cake and maybe one of the biscuits if I can manage to find the time to make them!
Last year I had a big Peppa Pig cake made for my little girl. It cost quite a lot of money and I actually had quite a lot left over afterwards. So this year I think I am going to go for a supermarket bought cake or possibly even attempt to make one myself. Don’t know if I’m that daring though! lol!
However I have to share with you some of the fab cakes I have found during my party planning so why not hop across to my Pinterest Page to see some of the great cakes I’ve found.
To finally top the day off I have a very special surprise planned for my little girl and her friends. It’s so top secret I can’t even share it on here yet! I’ll be sure to share it with you after the party though and I think I may be just as excited as my daughter is probably going to be so watch this space!
Have you had a Disney Princess Party or a Cinderella party? Do you have any ideas you would like to share? I’d love to hear from you
