Regular readers to my blog will know that we LOVE our books. I have read to my eldest daughter every single day since she was only a few weeks old. So when Penwizard Books contacted us to offer us the chance to review a personalised Peppa Pig and Me book we jumped at the chance as my daughter is a HUGE Peppa Pig fan too!
My daughter is due to start her pre-school in the next year so I immediately chose the Peppa Pig and Me Go To Pre-School as I thought it would be a great way to help introduce the transition to her.
The book is published by Ladybird Books, which we are also huge fans of, and comes as an A4 paperback or hardback with lovely glossy front and back cover.
The story takes your child through their first day at pre-school with Peppa and her friends. Your child is introduced to the class by Madame Gazelle and shown around the class by Peppa herself, before taking part in various fun activities with Peppa and the other children (which does of course include jumping in muddy puddles!).
My daughter loved her book and was mesmerized and thrilled that she was the star of her own story alongside Peppa Pig!
It’s really simple to order a book, all you do is visit the Penwizard website, select the book you want, click ‘create’ choose from a few basic characteristics such as sex, skin, hair and eye colour for your child, before providing their name and a short message to them. It really is that simple!
The character you design is the character that appears throughout the book and your personalised message appears on the first page.
At a cost of £14.99 for a paperback it’s a lovely keepsake and makes a perfect present. We received our book in no time and I know it is going to be a firm favourite and I am sure it will really help my little girl with the transition from nursery to pre-school when she comes to take that step too.
Disclaimer: A book was provided free of charge for this review. However no money was exchanged and all views and opinions are my own.
